Profiles¶
The Profiles page is where you import and manage proxy configurations. Each profile corresponds to a list of proxy nodes.
Add a Remote Profile¶
- Paste your subscription link (starting with
https://) in the input box - Click Add Remote
- Rover automatically downloads and parses the configuration
- The profile is auto-selected after first addition
Supported Formats
Rover supports both Clash YAML and sing-box JSON subscription formats. Most mainstream subscription services are compatible.
Add a Local Profile¶
Click Import Local and select a local Clash YAML or sing-box JSON configuration file.
Switch Profiles¶
Click on a profile card to switch to it. The currently active profile is highlighted. The core will automatically restart to load the new configuration.
Impact of Switching
Switching profiles restarts the sing-box core, which disconnects all active connections. It's best to switch when you don't have important downloads or calls in progress.
Update Subscription¶
Remote profile cards have a refresh button in the bottom-right corner for manual updates. You can also set an auto-update interval in the edit dialog.
Profile Information¶
Remote profiles display the following details:

Custom Groups¶
From the profile card's dropdown menu, select Custom Groups to:
- Create new proxy groups (e.g., "HK Nodes", "US Nodes")
- Categorize nodes by region, latency, etc.
- Reorder groups
